Trip Detail

With an elevation of 8848m/29,029ft, the top of Everest is the highest point in the world, and is located at 27° 59' North latitude and 86 ° 55’ East longitudes along the border of Nepal and Tibet (China) in the Himalaya range (the 1500 mile / 2414 km) that was formed when the Indo-Australian plate crashed into the Eurasian plate. Mt. Everest was known as Peak XV by the British until it was given its current English name of Mt. Everest in 1865. Local names for Mt. Everest include Chomolungma in Tibetan (which means "Goddess mother of the world") and Sagarmatha in Nepali (which means "Ocean mother"). The Chinese refer to it as Zhumulangma Peak or Mount Chomolungma. The peak has three somewhat flat sides and shaped like a three-sided pyramid. Glaciers and ice cover the sides of the mountain throughout the year and the temperature here ranges between 0°F (in summer) to -76°F (-60°C) in winter. Mt. Everest will always be famous for its extreme height that reaches nearly five and a half miles (8.85 km) into the sky.

This highest mountain in the world attracts well-experienced mountaineers as well as novice climbers who are willing to add substantial sums to their professional mountain guides by achieving a successful climb. As the world's highest mountain, climbing to the top of Mt. Everest has been a goal of many mountain climbers for many decades in order to prove themselves the most proud and adventurous person of the world. Despite the extreme cold, hurricane-force winds, and low oxygen levels (about one-third of the oxygen in the atmosphere as at sea level), climbers seek to successfully climb Mt. Everest every year since the first historic climb was made by Sir Edmund Hillary from New Zealand and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa from Nepal on May 29, 1953. These courageous climbers ascended the summit of Mt. Everest through the south Col from the Khumbu glacier via the south East Ridge. This route, thereafter, has become the most popular route to climb Mt. Everest from Nepal.

As Sir Edmund Hillary said "strong motivation is the most important factor in getting you to the top." Therefore, an attempt on Mt. Everest requires a huge amount of dedication, determination, motivation and money along with very competent climbing supporters and guides to take you all the way to the summit ensuring high safety with very modern equipment. Therefore, if you are serious about achieving the top and feel you have the right ingredients and experience, we invite you to join our Everest expedition. We will provide you all logistic support, very high competence local staffs, climbing supporters and guides who have been involved in this field for more than a decade to make your dreams come true as the success of an expedition is highly determined by factors that are planned well with high degree of competent staffs.

We climb Lobuche peak (6119m/20075ft) as a warm up before attempting on Everest.
