Trip Detail

One of the best short and panoramic trips around Pokhara valley! Panchase is the highest hill in the Annapurna region and lies on the south-west side of Pokhara bordering with Kaski on the east, Parbat on the west and Syangja on the south. The terrain of the area varies from subtropical valley with banana trees and rice paddies fields to high ridges covered in rhododendron forest supporting an abundant array of bird life and other wild animals.

It is also a religious site where many Hindu Pilgrims visit during the festivals. The top of Panchase is the best view point to have a panoramic view of the Himalayas, green valleys and terraces of mid-hilly region. There are different trails to go to Panchase and all are equally comfortable and interesting. The village settlements along the trail are also eye catching. In fact it is a perfect place to make a short and memorable holiday while in this beautiful Himalayan kingdom.
