Jomsom Muktinath Trek
Followers of both Hinduism and Buddhism regard Muktinath as a highly important pilgrimage site in Nepal. Nestled in the Northern Himalaya the trekking trail passes through the Annapurna Conservation area following the Kali Gandaki valley between the soaring peak of Annapurna & Dhaulagiri. Finally, leading us to the north of the main Himalayan range, on the dry, desert- like Tibetan Plateau (Jomsom and Muktinath) if we started our trip on foot from Nayapul.. Jomsom is the administrative center of Mustang district. Otherwise we can take early morning flight to Jomsom and drive to Muktinath by a local jeep.

Followers of both Hinduism and Buddhism regard Muktinath as a highly important pilgrimage site in Nepal. Nestled in the Northern Himalaya the trekking trail passes through the Annapurna Conservation area following the Kali Gandaki valley between the soaring peak of Annapurna & Dhaulagiri. Finally, leading us to the north of the main Himalayan range, on the dry, desert- like Tibetan Plateau (Jomsom and Muktinath) if we started our trip on foot from Nayapul.. Jomsom is the administrative center of Mustang district. Otherwise we can take early morning flight to Jomsom and drive to Muktinath by a local jeep. After visiting the temple we can drive back to Jomsom for overnight stay and next day morning fly to Pokhara.
From Pokhara we either fly or drive back to Kathmandu. The views of the mountains while on trip are spectacular with some unusual views of the northern flanks. Major highlights of this trip are: Magar village in Ulleri , Sunrise and mountains views from Poon Hill, hot spring at Tatopani, world deepest gorge Kaligandaki, Thakali village in Tukuche, and Marpha; Monasteries in Tukuche, Marpha, Kagbeni, Jharkot and Muktinath.

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel

Day 04: Fly Pokhara (915 m) to Jomsom (2713m) and drive to Muktinath (3795 m) and drive back to Jomsom for overnight stay
