Trip Detail

Lhakpa- Ri (7,045 m) very close proximity of Mt. Everest is one of the most popular expedition mountains in Tibet. As it is very close proximity of Mt. Everest you feel as alike you have climbed Mt. Everest at the time you get on the summit. This mountaineering expedition gives you an impeccable mountain climbing experience amidst the richly varied landscape of Tibet. This mountain also known as “Xang Dong Feng” towering over Tibet mountain range at an elevation of 7,045 m, divides the upper East Rongbuk glacier and upper Kharta glacier boasting mesmerizing sights of Nyonno Ri range in eastern Tibet, the north faces of Chomolonzo.

The ascent from Base Camp follows the historic footsteps of Mallory and Irvine, snaking its way up the East Rongbuk Glacier between the many ice pinnacles to Advance Base Camp from where we attempt to make the summit. It is arguably the most ‘climbable’ 7000 m peak in the world giving the most awesome views of the mighty Everest. The summit provides spectacular views of Makalu, Cho Oyu, Shishapangma, Lhotse and, of course, Mt. Everest and the enormous Kangshung face.
