Special Trekking Permit & Cost
Trekkers planning to travel to controlled areas in Nepal that are opened for group trekking need to get Trekking Permit issued by the Department of Immigration under the Home Ministry. The government has opened different restricted trekking areas for group trekkers. Trekking permits will not be issued to individual trekkers in those trekking areas. The areas and required fees are as follows:

Notes
A. To get a group trekking permit an application form with other relevant documents should be submitted through a registered trekking agency of Nepal.
B. Trekking fee can be paid in Nepalese currency. Notwithstanding anything written above, Indian citizens can pay in Nepalese currency equivalent to US Dollars.
